Syngress book for S+ cert

Hi all,
As I can see, there is old version of "Syngress Security+ Study Guide" avaliable on Amazon or Syngress site (http://www.syngress.com/catalog/?pid=2360)
Does anyone know if material covered in this book is still valid ?
This book was relesed over 4 years ago as I can see.

    The exam objectives for the Security+ are from 2002 according to CompTIAs website. I would also like to just say real quickly that I amj currently studying using the Syngress Book, I have already gone through the Sybex book and the Mike Meyers Passport book and so far the Syngress Book in the most in-depth.

    Don't let the age of the book throw you off... The objectives for the current exam are still covered in that book and it is an excellent book.
