How do you start your own consulting? I know it's a pretty broad question. lol. But could anyone enlighten me?

    I incorporated, found a niche to fill and put myself out there. Depending on the type of work you are doing you may want to consider a S Corp or LLC along with liability and error and omissions insurance.

    Get a good CPA, get a decent lawyer, form business entity. Find a good marketing guy (Hearst media ultimately owns everything in my area), advertise, attend networking events, attend any and every community event you can think of to get your name out there.
