CCNP Lab – IOS for 1841

NexusOneNexusOne Registered Users Posts: 1 ■□□□□□□□□□
Hi all! This is my first forum post. I have 3x1841 routers in my home lab. The third was recently acquired, and has 2 IOS’s on the flash:

c1841-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M8.bin
c1841-adventerprisek9-mz.151-3.T3.bin

I want to upgrade the other 2 routers, and would like to ask which would be better to use to upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.

M releases are "extended maintenance" and typically more stable but that's not necessarily a concern in a lab.

T releases commonly have new features that M releases don't yet have. I'd look at the release notes and see if the T release has any features you're looking for, probably not.
