Preparing for the CCENT, any words of wisdom or advice?

So after working several years within the IT landscape, I've decided to get started on my cert path for 2017. The FIRST cert that I am focusing on for this year is the CCENT. I've had courses in college in regards to Cisco and have had some hands-on experience with the different devices they offer. It's been at least 5 years, so needless to say I'm a bit rusty on the command line and over all functionality with Cisco devices. I originally planned for mid-March to be the test date, but after running through the first chapter of a book I've decided to extend the study period. Any resources or advice in approaching this test would be GREATLY appreciated! Like I said before, I've been in IT for at least 5 years so I'm current with most ideas and approaches.
