anyone know of deeper but simple tutorials on cyclomatic complexity?

I went to a few like Guru99 and others but found them hard to understand. suggestions? Or areas of difficulty in istqb tutorials. Strangely as an automation qa working with nodejs and other frameworks for a few yrs seems easier than taking the tests...
