OSPF DR BDR Multi-Access question

R1 , R2 , R3 , R4, R5 are all connected to the same VLAN, Same Subnet of 192.168.3.0/24 (Multi-Access). All in the same Area, running OSPF. R1 is DR and R2 is the BDR. R3 has a directly connected network behind him 192.168.1.0 directly connected with interface ip address 192.168.1.1 . What happens when R3's directly connected interface of 192.168.1.0 goes down ? I understand R3 will remove the Directly connected interface out of it's Routing Table. What happens next ?
