I'm confused on this... The answer according to one of my practice tests is
RSA and Diffie-Hellman...

Megadeth4168 Member Posts: 2,157Yeah that is what was confusing me actually.... I was unsure because of the way the question was phrased on weather or not to choose symmetric or asymmetric answers....
"The latest versions of PGP support AES, CAST, IDEA, Twofish, and 3DES algorithm for the symmetric portion; to encrypt the actual data. That symmetric key is in turn encrypted by using an asymmetric algorithm (RSA, DSS/Diffie-Hellman) to allow users to securely exchange the symmetric key with each other."
The following is a question from this site....
Which of the following encryption algorithms can be used in PGP for data encryption?
I see what was throwing me off now though.... The added words "Data Encryption".
