Is there any benefit of using CSRV1000 vs IOSv for CCIE RS studies?

I know just about everyone who passed the RS on here passed with the CSRV1000 on a esxi server. My question is are there any real differences or advantages of doing the labbing with CSRV1000 over IOSv. Both run 15.6 code the only difference I see is that the CSRV1000 needs 3gb per node to run while the IOSv does not. From a hardware perspective it seems to make more sense to run 30 IOSv nodes on a i7, 32gb laptop vs a loud, hot, server to accommodate the CSRV1000. Just want to make sure I don't shoot myself in the foot by using the IOSv over the CSRV1000.

Thanks to all that reply

You should be good. CSR and XRv add a bunch of features that aren't part of the R&S blue print.

With the CSR and XRv, if you are using a practice lab provider like INE, it makes it easier to run a home lab that mirrors what they have for rack rentals, baseline configurations, diagrams, and scenarios.

IOSv emulates ISR routers and those are the core routers for the R&S.
