Security analyst from scratch

Hello everyone i'm new to the IT field with ZERO knowledge except for the basic and i mean basic computer knowledge. Security analyst will be my ultimate goal, but i'm not sure where to start.
i'm thinking of starting with my certs from security +/ network+, learning Linux/unix and then go for my Ceh cert and ccna cert. There's a lot of info out here and i just don't want to waste time studying something i won't use. Thank you
