For me, yes. But I do best listening to videos and taking practice tests. For me, studying from a book is like taking sleeping pills...

A little late to the part here, but I'd definitely recommend watching the Cybrary videos. Georgia Weidman does a pretty good job with them if you aren't overly familiar with the tools and commands.
Also, if you watch the videos and apply for the certificate of completion, you can use it for CPEs for CEH as well

Actually I'm wondering this as well, but I was confused as to which class we're talking about. There's the one called Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking hosted by Leo Dregier, and then there's Advanced Pen Testing with Weidman. I plan on doing both but I noticed Leo's modules seem to follow the CEH oriyano book table of contents?

His is good, but personally I liked Weidman's better. yes yes ... I know her voice gets old after awhile, but it pairs really well with her book
