Linux Essentials worthwhile?

My job involves some Linux, but it's hardly the primary focus. I was thinking it might be nice to just have a cert on my resume that says Linux. Is it worth the $110 and study time?

Linux+/LPIC-1 is too much money/time investment for me currently as I have other more pressing certs to study for.

Verities

Linux Essentials certification will most likely not help your resume stand out. Pursue at least Linux + if you want to put something Linux related on the resume. Any experienced Linux admin will be able to tell your competency level within 5 minutes or less, when interviewing you.
