3038 - AIX System Administrator
System Administrator for new AIX server environment. This position will be
responsible for Operating System configurations and installation of IBM AIX
servers. Day to day activities to support newly installed systems will also
be required.
Essential Functions:
Install and configure AIX Operating System, configure backup and recovery
process, review and recommend any changes as necessary, and work closely
with application teams to ensure standards are maintained.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
1. pSeries experience with AIX OS 5.3.
2. Experience with IBM Clustering, HACMP, installations and configurations.
3. Experience with daily systems administration.
4. Some experience with Veritas NetBackup is a plus.
5. Some experience working with SAN design and configurations is a plus.
6. Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication is required.
Work Schedule: On call support will be needed.
