Prep for Linux+ - Linux Academy vs Ucertify

DanteADanteA Member Posts: 5 ■□□□□□□□□□
I have looked through this forum and it seems like the most popular recommendations for Linux+ prep are:

(1) Linux Academy, by Anthony James

(2) UCertify Linux+ (inc Labs) (is it the correct link to the ucertify course you recommend most?)

Which of these two do you consider to be better? I am looking for, preferably, the most efficient way (i.e. without needing to view lots of overlapping videos etc.).

Where can I find the best/most comprehensive practice questions?

Thank you for your help!

I very, very highly recommend Linux Academy. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable, and they will teach you to actually be able to do the work competently, rather than just pass the exam. It can be dry at times, but I can't recommend them enough.

I have used Linux Academy, in addition to Sybex books, to pass Linux+ in March (both exams, 680 on 103, 740 on 104). So I can very confidently say that their Linux training, all of it, not just Linux+, is excellent.

I also used Linux Academy, as well as A Cloud Guru, to pass the Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate exam last Monday. You can't go wrong with Linux Academy for Linux and cloud training (and no, I am not paid or compensated in any way to praise them!). Just very happy with what they do.

I used nothing but Linux Academy to pass my Linux+ roughly 2 years ago. I haven't used uCertify, but I def recommend LA.

Additionally, a Linux Academy subscription is great if you want to continue w/ your Linux studies and not just stop at the Linux+.
    Goals for 2018:
Certs: RHCSA, LFCS: Ubuntu, CNCF CKA, CNCF CKAD | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming
    To-do | In Progress | Completed
