All,
I am taking the RHCE bootcamp next month. I already hold my RHCSA and I have a good 7-8 years of Linux experience. I am following along with with some video series on safaribooks.com and building out my lab now where I am playing around. Any recommendations on lab books? Q&A? Other resources? Hoping pass this one the first time around given it's cost.

Verities Member Posts: 1,162Sander Van Vut's book is the best bet for RHCE. Certdepot walks you through a number of labs too, the guy who runs that site was a technical reviewer for Sander's book, so a lot of what he has on the site matches up with Sander's labs. Go take a look at my thread for the 'Road to RHCE'. I ended having to take it twice to pass.
Good luck to you! -
Daniel333 Member Posts: 2,077 ■■■■■■□□□□Thanks for the info. Seems sander Van Vut is thw way to go. Job is unstable but I think I'll make it until next year at least. So hoping to make my way to RHCA by then. Guess I'll start another thread on that.-Daniel

OctalDump Member Posts: 1,722My advice is to sit the exam as close as possible to the end on the bootcamp. If it's included, it's usually on the final day. If you know in advance that there are particular areas you might be weak on, read up on them. Ideally the bootcamp will be a refresher and also hint strongly at the particular skills/tools you need to pass the exam.2017 Goals - Something Cisco, Something Linux, Agile PM
