IS-IS, help ??

I just began preparation 4 my BSCI, and i'm having a tough time, with the Addressing of IS-IS (OSI).
the material i have, doesn't, present it in easily understandable format, anybody can give a a very breif overveiw or direct me to a better resource.
using CISCO press by clare gough 3rd Ed.

God give me the serenity to accept the things that i cannot change...and the courage to change the things i can....and the wisdom to know the difference.
