Quick questions.

I'm starting my mcsa server 2012 and decided to go with a laptop to use for my labbing. My one issue is I completely forgot about the lack of Hyper V on windows 10 home versions (Very stupid on my part...). There is some Hyper V on mcsa as far as I can recall so it is valuable to get the practice on it right? With that in mind if I chose to upgrade to pro it would be linked to only this laptop with no ability to transfer it to another machine? If all that is correct, say I did upgrade and the mainboard dies would there be no way to get my pro licence onto another device? Thanks.
