in CCNA & CCENT
Hi all,
I'm studying for the ccent/ccna certs. If I have a router running IOS 15.1 (or just 15.. I forget) do I also need a switch running the same IOS version or can I get by with 12.1? The switch I have is a Catalyst 2950.
I'm using Packet Tracer as well, but in case I get the chance to expand my physical Lab I'd like to know which models support the newest IOS without breaking the bank. Thanks!

And, 121-22.EA14 is the last version that cisco made for the 2950. And, the 2950 with the close to latest ios will work just fine for the ccna. -
