some questions about the exam question

1. From Cisco website, CCNA exam would be 90 minutes for 55~65 questions. I think 10 question would make big difference, why is that? Do I need to pray to be lucky to get only 55?
2. How many forms of questions? if it's a multiple choice question, will the question indicate in the mean time? like "choose three answears" in the practise questions?
3. Can I use "?" if I'm not sure about the command in the exam?
4. In the simulation question, can I use "show" to check what's already configured in the device?

I'm a newbie in this site, and I plan to take my first exam at the end of this month. thanx!

There are ungraded questions that Cisco needs to try out (to see how people do) before they add them to the test pool of real questions. The number range probably gives Cisco some wiggle room to test more new questions.... You might get only 75 minutes if you get 55 questions.... Anyways, I usually average about a minute a question, but I've been speeding up lately as I run out of Cisco exams to take -- probably want to get these exams over. Anyways, your time would probably be better spent studying for the exam than worrying about this anymore.... :D Oh, save all you're worrying for just before the exam.... pre-test jitters are part of the certification experience.

Check out the cisco ccna prep center -- I think they have a test demo there.... maybe. As part of the Cisco exam process you agree to a Non-Disclosure about the exam...... I sort of remember something about "number of questions" -- I think you can't say I had 7 questions on topic X and 4 on topic Y.... but that could also be taken to mean you can't say "i had N multiple choice, M drag 'n drops... etc... Most people are writing down notes on their scratch paper before the exams... rather than reading the NDA word-for-word.....

The ? is available in the sims on the command line. It would be nice if you could use it elsewhere.... or maybe the "Staple's EASY button".... or the Who Wants to be a Millionare 50/50 -- lifeline -- ask the other testers... etc.

Not all commands are available in the sims -- but the show commands are probably there to check your configurations -- if it isn't available, you've probably missed something in the instructions or are doing something the "wrong" way.

A couple final hints: subnetting, subnetting, and subnetting. And time management will be important when taking the exam.... but you probably don't need to worry about that yet.

    Good Luck!
