Cisco / Juniper - Minimum requirements for a MPLS lab?

Hi Everyone,
Can MPLS be reasonably labbed up on 3 routers (ce,p,ce)? Or should the 'provider network' be at least 2 or 3 routers (ce, pe, p, pe, ce)?

You'd be best off with five routers so you can see what a straight P router looks like if you want to use two as CPE devices. The CPE could always be a host though. It's fairly insignificant in the scheme of the MPLS network.
