I currently work on a printing press while studying making pretty decent money. However there is an opportunity I came across working in an Iphone and computer repair store for less money. My question is will this be decent experience on my resume and will this in the long term help me to get into an IT position as I achieve more certifications and finish my degree at WGU?
Currently enrolling into WGU's IT - Security Program. Working on LPIC (1,2,3) and CCNA (and S) as long term goals and preparing for the Security+ and A+ as short term goals.

What you propose is kind of like getting a job at McDonald's so that you have food experience. Too much of a step down.A+, Network+, CCNA, LFCS,
