Just got my official word for the CISM yesterday. So happy! I also signed up for the annual general meeting for my local ISACA chapter - Has anyone gone to one of these? What were your impressions?
My impression might be wrong but my chapter is auditor heavy. 9 out of 10 people I met were in audit depts of some kind usually with the big management consulting firms. I was like fresh meat to them for mandates LOL.
The chapter i'm at talks a good game about cybersecurity but can't wait to see any concrete action outside an 'audit checklist' I can only go through SOC, PCI, HIPAA so many times...
