They are salespeople first and foremost representing the company. Not saying that is good or bad. Just don't let them pressure you into something you are not comfortable with, and don't ask them for advice aside from how to impress the employer.

Its about money to them, I tell them not looking for a job and they're begging to submit resume to client.
You understand I won't leave right now unless they're offering over 135k and I can start in 6 months..
