CISA CPE's

Greetings,

Any online resources anyone can recommend where one can earn recognized CPE's per year that doesn't cost any money? I'm currently looking at ISACA's site and the cheapest I see is $180 for members.

    The information you need is under Certifications\CISA\How to earn CPE.

    Some of the free ones include volunteering for ISACA, mentoring and speaker engagements (my fav).

    Completing surveys and the magazine's quizzes gets you some points, but not much.
    ISACA's free webinars earn CPEs too
    You can accumulate a lot of CPEs attending vendor meetings/presentations and industry conferences.

    Either of you full-time members? Is the cost for membership worth the CPE's one must have to remain certified?

    I'm a member, but my employer will reimburse membership fees. I'm studying a course and a part-time degree so accumulating points is easy at the moment.
    If you fail to main your CPE's you will lose the accreditation. So if you need it for work, or to help find new opportunities, then try to maintain CPE's.
