Listing your previous job roles on an application
Welly_59
If you've been employed in various roles by the same employer do you put these down as separate employments on a job application or do you just list it as one?
I think in other words I'm asking would you list them to show your progression within the company or just class it as one employment and use your latest job title?

Show the roles under the employer as one employemnt but then break these down by how long you spent in each role. Focus the details of what you did in the last role and simply summarise the previous ones, eg:
Donald Trump Enterprises (2010-date)
Role - Press Secretary (1/8/17-date)
- shouting at press
- telling lies to press
- defending the presidents dubious decisions
- arguining with the Chief of Staff
Role - Assistant to Press Secretary (1/17-8/16)
- providing operational assistance to the Whitehouse Press Secretary
Role - Opposition liaison to the Kremlin (6/16-12/16)
- I wan't there, no one saw anything, you can't prove a thing.
Role - Redneck Relations Consultant (1/10-5/16)
- promoting the Trump brand to county fairs, monster truck rallies and greased pig wrestling competitions.
That sort of thing would work - the content was only intended as illustrative and does not represent the views of TechExams I hasten to add.
