Greetings everyone!!!
I am glad to be here today, thankful for another day to learn and grow. first I want to say thank you to the MANY people that came before me... who Passed the OSCP and left their study notes, journey, and tips on the OSCP.... I would like to thank Jollyfrog for his write up on the OSCP.... and the Mod that did the class on buffer overflow... I will be using those resources. I also want to thank everyone in advance for their moral support... whether it be in a comment, PM, or post.... I am going to need it. I'm going to take my time and do this the right way.... leaving updates here along the way.
To all the people that have passed the OSCP by your powers combined I will pass this beast!!!!
I am very excited to begin... Today I plan to study "Buffer overflow" and "Bash" when I get off work....and I will be going over the barebones eJPT material. When I get paid I will purchase the full OSCP course materials... and go from there.

So far I am learning basic powershell and scripting... along with linux. Getting re-used to the CLI. learning how to do this will be essential to my OSCP exam so im taking my time to learn everything I can. I also ordered some books off Amazon that I used to have... the Books I have ordered are
Red Team Field Manual
The Hackers Playbook
The hackers Playbook 2
Metasploit the Penntesters Guide
Black Hat Python
All of these books I used to have before I lost them all in my storage unit that got sold. So its like im starting again.
Notepad is my choice for saving my scripts that I am learning with powershellIn the darkest hour, there is always a way out - Eve ME3

If find that Violent Python a bit easier that Black Hat tho. -

ITSpectre Member Posts: 1,040 ■■■■□□□□□□any books suggestion for buffer overflow and gdb?
JDMurray made a good class on buffer overflow you can PM him for details... I will link his class here.
JDMurray Said on a Post:
Have a look at my Ethical Hacking: Buffer Overflow course at Pluralsight. It's four hours of detailed explanations about everything buffer overflows with almost no code examples. It's a nice change from all the YouTube BoF videos that start right away with assembly language and debugger output.
You can sign up for a free trial subscription on Plualsight.com, or I can PM you a 90-day full-access code.In the darkest hour, there is always a way out - Eve ME3
