Working through some examples and came across a question here....
If Switch A and Switch B are connected such that the the FASTETHERNET port on Switch A is connected to a GIGABIT ETHERNET port on Switch B, I would have to imagine that the cost for that link would default to the lower bandwidth of the fastethernet port and the link would be advertised as a cost of 19 to RSTP for port selection right?

jboogie81 Member Posts: 29 ■■□□□□□□□□Yep, the speed used for cost is the "actual" operating speed of the link and not the maximum capable speed of the port.
