I'm just wondering if would anyone give up their degree program and went straight for Cisco certification? Btw, does studying CCIE needs whole lot of experience from work? How do you guys study your CCIEs?? Thanks!!

My advise would be to stick to your degree. If you go for Cisco you are closing alot of doors.Cisco advises you to afew years working experience.
It can be done without work experience if you are willing to spent alot on a lab alot of time studying and then you still might not make it.A degree course is alot broader to start with and will give you a feel for what you like.
Studying for a CCIE without anything else to back you up will be alot of pressure, you will probably be better off going the CCNP route first, getting a job and eventually work on the CCIE.
    Anyway the choice is yours...
Networking, sometimes i love it, mostly i hate it.Its all about the $$$$
