    Hmm, yep, your going to need a linux person or someone more familier with drbl. I don't know why it's not working, not really my area of knowledge, sorry. Funny thing is in my lab setup for this my clients were able to contact the drbl VM and get an IP. I didn't see this problem your having at all.

    One thing you could try to get some deeper insight is to use wireshark to see your network traffic and find out if anything is happening in terms of dhcp process. If your switch is a managed one you could set a port as a mirror port and just hook up a laptop to it to capture the traffic.
