They are different issuing company, but exam Objectives are same. If you pass Linux+, you will automatically receive Lpic-1(just need send your info to LPI from your Comptia profile). This does not work in reverse order, if you pass Lpic-1 exams, you don't receive Linux+.

Yup, LX0-103 is Linux+/LPIC's exam 101 and LX0-104 is Linux+/LPIC's exam 102
