Why are there 3 links for 10. network
AndreL
192 and 172 have one link each and the 10 network has 2 /32 links and 1 /30 network ... why
Why can't 172 and 192 have a network address.
Does it take 2 links to form a network ... what about stub networks they have one link on a router.

This is the behavior with serial connections. You will have a route for own adapter pointing to the other end of the serial link. Pinging the local interface will actually do a loopback across the serial link. The /32's are host routes (only 1 host) and the /30 is typical for the 2 host network across the serial link.
