Man I hated that show. Did the captain really need his shrink on the bridge? And why the heck were people bringing their kids onto a warship? (Don't tell me "it's a science vessel," the ship was armed to the teeth and regularly engaged in combat.)

I like the show, but these complaints are what I had when it came out. I didn't care for it much back then, but I enjoy it now.
