Day 1 CCNA - Security

Started Chris Bryant's course on UDEMY - heard good things and it's so cheap.
I start a new Networking job Monday so I have to go in packing some heat. I have some networking experience, but not enough to feel 100% comfortable to mess with some of the core equipment. Luckily the lead engineer said he was going to take me under his wing so I'm going to do everything in my power to turn the teacher into the student within a couple of years. (facetious duh ).
I took a practice exam on one of the courses provided to me to see where I am at and I scored a 70 out of the box. There's a 30 percent I need to fill, which I imagine is more focused on configuring and maintaining ASA's.

no!all! Member Posts: 245 ■■■□□□□□□□I've been studying for the CCNA Sec for a while now. I started out with Chris Bryant's videos because that's what I used for R&S but I didn't find them very interesting so I switched to Keith Barker on CBT Nuggets. You do pay more money for CBT Nuggets but I really enjoy Keith's style of teaching. I honestly feel like the CCNA Sec is a completely different animal compared to R&S. There's just so many aspects to cover, it's quite interesting. I aim to pass by the new year, we'll see. Good luck!!A+, N+, S+, CCNA:RS, CCNA:Sec

Moldygr33nb3an Member Posts: 241I can't find any good literature for the CCNA Security. Every review I read, they say it leaves out a ton of info. Any recommendations?

p@r0tuXus Member Posts: 532 ■■■■□□□□□□I've been collecting links for books, training, sims and documents others have provided. It's probably overkill but just some options. I suppose, if it helps someone then sharing it will be worthwhile. Anyway, in addition to the Keith Barker notes you can still find on some people's paste-bin and dropbox pages, here's what I have:
