CISM Maintenance Costs

I just passed my CISM, and I was taking a look on the website to see if my score was posted yet. I saw that my ISACA membership came due by December for $165 total. Yikes!

I did a little research and found that the ISACA membership is optional (I believe). What isn't optional are paying the yearly renewal for my CISM which will come due next year. Can someone tell me what the costs are to renew the CISM? I know that there will be some costs for the CPE credits in some cases, but I am good with that.

Is the ISACA membership indeed optional like I have read? What is the cost to maintain the CISM? I have a plan already for the CPE credits.

Assuming it's the same as the CISA - it is $45 /yr to renew the certification. ISACA membership is optional.
