Has anyone ever took a contract job to work on a Project and got hired on afterwards?
I currently have a salaried position, but ready to move on to something else. Got an email for a contract job for a project, but not sure taking the risk would be worth it...

There are many factors to consider before taking on a project like this. Do you have a family to support? Do you have savings to live off while you search for another job after this project?
Yes salaried position is nice, but if you feel like you are not getting the experience you want or doesn't align with your career goals.. it may be a time to go.Certs: CISSP, CySA+, Security+, Network+ and others | 2019 Goals: Cloud Sec/Scripting/Linux -

I don't have a family and I have money saved up.
It's definitely time to go...just wasn't sure if this contract job was worth the risk. It's a 6month contract for the gov't which I've been trying to get into just don't know if something will come from it.
