What one is supposed to do for Beta Exam V2?

There 's a lack of CV1-002 resources and people have stated that the Beta Exam is completely unlike the CV0-001, so studying from CV0-001 material is almost useless. What have you guys done to try to pass. I'm going over the Sybex's Cloud+ written by Todd Montgomery and will be using IT PRO TV video on Cloud+. Are these sufficient study guides for the Beta Exam?

Look at the objectives posted in the other thread and ensure that you know the topics. Use the existing test materials, but know that there will be a lot more. Compare existing materials and objectives to the new test, and find material that covers what you don't know from the new objectives. You're going to have to do some legwork on this one if you want to pass the test. There's not a single source with all of the information.

Or just wait until the test is released and complete materials come out and use them. It will cost you more, though.

The point of a beta test is to get people that have a strong foundational knowledge of the subject matter, so that the questions can be analyzed. If someone doesn't already know a good amount about cloud technologies, then the beta exam isn't for them. That also means that CompTIA should be paying people for this service, rather than charging them, but I digress...

You are being via a $200 discount on getting a cert, in essence (or whatever the difference is between $50 and the regular price of the test).

That being said, for real experts in the subject, sign up and join us as an SME. It's a lot of fun and a rewarding way to give back to the IT industry as a whole. and you actually do get paid for that time (as well as a couple of nice dinners )

Oh, and READ THE ACRONYMS

Way too often I see people here and on other forums complain about acronyms they didn't know on the tests. Each set of test objectives has a set of acronyms at the end that you are recommended to know. How can you understand a question if there's an acronym you don't know the meaning of. The acronym list is there for a reason, not just to waste paper (pdf pages?) at the end. Read them, know them, love them.
