Icnd2 book
Mr.Robot255
Hi all
What’s the best book for icnd2
Something that will go along with various other sources of input. I just want the book so I have something to highlight important notes in etc.
I was looking at icnd2 3rd edition Todd lammle
Or
Official cert guide wendell Odom (I’m leaning towards this one)200-105
Both are about same price

Go with Odom. I read both and found that lammle did not contain enough to pass

I eventually used both. The Odom book is more thorough, without question. That said, I found it extremely dry and difficult to get through.
The Lammle book does a better job of "connecting the dots", but I agree that it is missing some of the pieces.
My recommendation would be the Lammle book for conceptual, supported by the detail in the Odom book.
Either way, plan on labbing a lot. ICND2 is no joke.

cheers will probs get the Odom one.

I read the Odom book for ICND1. I went with the assumption that maybe i should try Lammle's ICND2 book. His book is less than half the thickness of Odom's book and i just cant get into his writing style. personal preference i suppose.
