LX0-103 Boot Commands
layer8problems
Can someone reference a good page that covers the grub command line?
And can someone verify my understanding on this:
Pressing "E" at boot is for one time changes to boot defaults, and "C" is your grub command line, where the commands are passed directly to the kernel
Is that correct?

Hold down Shift to get to the grub menu. From there, it's e to edit or c for command line. For a good reference of what all the parameters are for, check
$ man kernel-command-line
and
$ man bootparam
also
$ info grub
has a huge explanation. No grub man page for some reason. I don't see the Shift, e, and c anywhere in those references so that might be something you'd have to commit to memory unfortunately.
