CCNA: What hardware do I need

Hi All,

I am just about to start preparing for my ccna - The hardware I have at the moment is -

1) 837 (DSL router)
2) 1900 series switch
3) 2504 router (with 2 serial ports, bri port, and token ring port)

I would like to get another basic device with a serial port - how do I make sure that I can interconnect them? (and what kind of serial cable do I need for this)?

Any help greatly appreciated.
