Hi all,
I just want to ask you if you ever compare both exams?
As I can see, similar related topics are covered there.
I just thinking to get the CEH materials and then pass exam without the course...

Anyone have both certs to compare them ?

Regards
B.

Since you already have Sec+ , i would advise you post this in the CEH or Security forums. As far as i know, the CEH exam covers not just the basic topics of security but you need to have a pretty comprehensive knowledge of the workings of security and administration.

C|EH is geared more towards actually using tools, technologies and methodologies. You wont deal with much administration or management at all. You'll have to know how most common attacks, viruses, and exploits work.
