Passed CSA+

Just passed the exam with an 811. I felt it was made of very fair questions that made you considered what was really being asked. However the sims confused me a bit by the setup, nevertheless it was a good exam and I'd say would be a great follow on for someone after Sec+. Definitley would require studying and hands on practice if you haven't had experience in a security role so don't underestimate the test!

I took the exam a few months ago and failed. The sims were my weakness. Any recommendation on studying for that part?

I guess just flag the sims for review and do them last. Being able to read the logs and know what's going on is key so just practice interpretating various types of logs and you should be able tp figure it out.

Well done for passing. Definitely not an easy exam, and I agree that the simulated questions were no walk over!

Hey
@airzero
,
Would you mind sharing what materials you used to prepare for this exam? I'm in the process of putting some together to prep for CSA+ to help renew my Sec+..
Thx!
