Open up a book, go to the last pages, it says with bold letters "Index" can you figure it out now?

One of the most amazing things I've learned in this forum, coincidentally making fun of a similar post a while ago, is that there is such thing as the
American Society for Indexing
. I hear they party wild!

In the context of GIAC certification exams, the books do not have a table of contents, index or glossy. Creating your own "index" is a great way to study the material and gives you a way to look up answers during the open book exams. Recently the SANS books started including indexes in book 5 again, but it's very incomplete and riddled with errors. I wager more students will fail the GIAC exams now then before they included an index.
I don't have to build an index, one is included in book 5. Yea, good luck with that.
