Reading through Lammel's ICND2 200-105 book and everything was going good until he tried to explain Spanning-Tree. To be more accurate, I didin't think anything was too hard until he showed this example:

I'm well aware that a swiches Bridge ID is used as a tiebreaker if the accumulated path cost is a tie between 2 switches back to the root bridge... My question lies with his Bridge ID logic. Could someone explain to me how switch SD has a better (lower) Bridge ID then SA?

Thanks
