When a job posting states "bachelor's degree required" but no specific major is stated, does that mean any major fufills that requirement?

I assume we're talking HR as opposed to the hiring manager. -

I went on a few interviews where they ask for a 4 year degree and they knew I had a non-related degree to technology and they still called me into an interview. Once you think about it, it's kind of weird but it works so whatever.
But wait, you might get asked why did you major in this degree when you want to be in technology field so be prepared to answer that if they ask. -
