hardware questions....
aray
I am just about to start preparing for my ccna - The hardware I have at the moment is -
1) 837 (DSL router)
2) 1900 series switch
3) 2504 router (with 2 serial ports, bri port, and token ring port)
I would like to get another basic device with a serial port - how do I make sure that I can interconnect them? (and what kind of serial cable do I need for
this)?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrew

Just grab a cheap router with a serial port like a 1600/2500...something like that.
Cable wise just buy a DB60 crossover cable off ebay. I dont know how much they are in dollars but they cant be that expensive. Then your pretty much set, you can set up a home frame-relay lab, play with routing protocols and some other funky stuff!!
