Hows the IT Job market in Houston? I'm looking to move out to Texas for family reasons. Most of my family is in Houston, but i'm open to living in Dallas, Austin and San Antonio.

Austin's full. Try San Antonio. I hear they're hiring. But seriously, there's a lot of IT and security work all over the state.

What sort of industry do you want to work in? Houston is known for having a lot of medical and oil/gas related IT, Austin for state government and general tech, San Antonio for Fed/Mil work, and Dallas is known for oil/gas, tech, and recently, a lot of banking. All of the big metro areas have plenty of jobs available, so just do your homework on cost of living, quality of life, etc...
