Cisco ASA Third Edition ( THIS IS THE BEST BOOK FOR THE EXAM)
and an old retired ASA 5510
+ Experience
Passed with an 867.
Tips:
LEARN ASDM inside and out. Seriously
Learn VPN Technologies inside and out.
Learn about the Next-Gen technologies that Cisco is all about
READ THE BOOK I MENTIONED. If you just read the book, it can substitute from buying an ASA.

I guess I should say some of the Q's were just basic sec questions and not necessarily cisco related. If you have a security background or have recently taken sec exams, these should be freebies for you. Goodluck -

question for you, did you go through the OCG at all?
on one of the Amazon reviews, one buyer posted that the following on the exam but not covered in any books. I checked and they don't show up on the CIsco roadmaps either. Can you verify? Thanks.

Some of the things I noticed were tested in-depth but not covered in much detail by the Cisco Press books:
MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB)
AsyncOS Email Reputation actions (Defang/Redirect/Replace URL)
Software Assurance Maturity Model (SAMM)
ESA File Analysis/Log interpretation
FirePOWER Preprocessors
EAP/EAP-TLS/LEAP/PEAP/EAP-FAST
Cisco ASA Packet Process Algorithm
ASA Use of LDAP Attribute Maps
ESP Packet dissection
Cisco Context Adaptive Scanning Engine
IP Routing Protocol-Independent Commands
Network Device Enrollment Service (NDES)
