Hey Everyone,
Passing Score: 825
My Score: 917/1000
SELF STUDY
Education:
Sec+ acquired in 2016
M.S Cyber Security Acquired in 2016
Work-Experience:
1.5 Yrs in INFOSEC
Personal,
I recently failed the CCNA R/S composite with a 677.
- my problem is configurations; concepts are very easy for me.
Resources:
Cisco Press Book
- I read through the entire book and highlighted key concepts.
- Summarized in my own words those concepts and documented on the press book.
- I skipped all questions and read through all chapters.
- After completing the last chapter; I went back and answered the questions for each chapter.
- I then went back and read the highlighted terms, notes, and sometimes the entire topic.
Udemy has a current sale for 1200 exam questions for 11.99 for SECFND 210 - 255. I used this and selected targeted topics as my exam date was approaching.
Time:
Three weeks to read the Cisco Press SECFND 210-250
- I stopped after Chpt 3 for sometime and procrastinated; I regret going that, bc i had to exam crunch.
-
I schedule the exam on Sunday ( i was still on chapter 12) for Today Saturday.
EDIT:
I also broke down the Exam Objectives and attempted to answer everyone of them from memory; I then created a word document with all correct answers for each exam objectives.
Opinion:
- Knowing terminology/concepts is critical to Success.
- I think brushing up on ICND1 is a goof thing.
- I think if you recently passed the sec+ or CEH; you won't have a problem
I read through the CEH book, but was too poor to afford the exam when it was v8 if anyone had wanted to know.
thanks good luck!!!

Udemy Questions; are like 200 questions per exam topic. I think it's a bit overwhelming, but it really expose my lack of knowledge on the topics. I'm glad i purchase those questions
I was only able to work with:
Network
Host Based
Cryptology
however; Udemy question would mix in the needed terminology within each exam topics to better provide an overwhelming experiencing.
I'm not sure if udemy has one for SECOPS, but if they do I will purchase those questions.CISSP, CCENT, CCNA R/S, CCNA Cyber OPs, Security+, CySA+, PenTest+, Network+, Microsoft AZ-900, InsightVM CA -
