Firewall that can block youtube channels.

Hi All,

Are there any affordable firewalls that can block specific youtube channels and set timers for how much the kids can watch?

My problem is with specific really annoying kids channels, and with how much the kids watch, I can try to force them to stop watching but I think it would be easyer to find a technical solution where the channels will not work or youtube will stop working on its own if they watched too much.

I though about circle with Disney but I don't think that it will work in my case.

Thanks.

Koalasafe is pretty good. If you want more granular control though, have a look at HomeHalo. You can make profiles for each person using it.

You can block certain channels from the YT Kids app. We've had to do that too.

As for how much time the kids can watch, we just take the iPads away icon_lol.gif. If they're using laptops/PCs, if you have Xfinity I think they have a solution where you can cut the internet/WiFi off from your phone.

Thanks for the suggestions, HomeHalo looks good but it has some bad reviews.

Unfortunately youtube kids is not available in my region.

I was thinking of something like the Enterprise firewalls that can "Break" SSL and block parts of https sites :D , it should be cheap and should work with youtube app on Samsung TV, PC, ipads, samsung phones, and android tablets :D

    any more ideas?

I have a Circle from Disney, it’s a proxy and I can block or set time limits to devices I choose to in the app.
