Another go at the CCNA

I decided to go back to study for my CCNA after taking time off. I left IT briefly to take this construction job going into my 4th month. In the last week or so, the material has been making a lot sense compare to the first studying few years back. I have read Wendell Odom CCNA book and Todd Lammle's book both from 2012 and 2013. Is it wise to focus on skimming through the reading material, lab daily and often or take my time once again?

need to ensure you are studying the relevant material, as there might have been a few revision since 2013. CCNA is a great deal of theory and some lab but labbing makes the material easier to grasp I find.
