Was wondering what peoples thoughts are on certification selections. For someone that has a lot of firewall experience and some cyber security experience. Outside of CISSP what is a well regarded Cert? Or does anyone have a good (respectible)site that lists the top cyber security certs?

To better frame a proper answer for you, it boils down what are your your end goals. What are your end goals? Is it to become an InfoSec Manager? Is it to be a technical top gun in network security? Getting those questions answered down first will help pave a good sense of direction of what certifications you would like to pursue. There are tons of threads on TechExams that provide a explanations on what exams achieve what outcomes. It is a matter of going for what works best for you and not what everyone else is writing. -

CISM is a good start for management. SANS are top notch and very expensive - highly regarded and cover a wide range of security topics. There are cheaper courses out there that I myself regard highly, but they are not as popular as the ones above.
